As a former educator in Early Childhood Special Education, Dr. McClain has eight years of teaching experience. Her continued passion for serving the needs of her community guided her transition into the role as a Program Specialist for last six years. Dr. McClain's role as Program Specialist entailed program development, teacher training, and facilitating IEPs for students of all abilities, Pre-K through adult transition. Now, as a Coordinator of Early Childhood with San Bernardino City School District, Dr. McClain provides support to the Early Childhood Assessment Team (ECAT), is dedicated to developing equitable programs across the district, is a team player and enjoys encouraging involvement among all stakeholders. She leads by example and has intention for continued growth in her management role. Dr. McClain spends her recreational time traveling and advocates for animal welfare.
